Something does not work. What can I do?

Almost everything in CuriFox depends on two things: your location and mobile internet. Here are the most common cases.

The station does not open although I am there

Check that location is allowed for CuriFox (your phone's settings) and that GPS is on. Between tall buildings the phone sometimes needs half a minute to get the position right. Walk a few steps; the station opens as soon as you are close enough.

There are no points in my area

Outside the 16 cities you first unlock your area: tap the map, 5 gems, wait for the push. See Unlock any area.

The app does not build a route

Usually coins are missing: a route costs 10. Finish a route you already have or exchange 1 gem for 10 coins. Without internet the app builds nothing either.

No push notification

Allow notifications for CuriFox in your phone's settings. The finished area or the route of the day is in the app anyway, also without push.

The stories are in the wrong language

As a guest they are in English. With an account you set the language in the profile.

Something else

Write to team@curifox.com, ideally with the city, your phone model and what exactly happened. We read every mail.

Frequently asked questions

Does CuriFox work offline?
No. Mobile internet and location must be on.
Why is the map grey or empty?
Either it is still loading (check the internet), or you are in an area without points that has to be unlocked first.
How do I report an error at a station?
Under every question there is the vote and a report function. Or write to team@curifox.com.

Rather try it right away?

Download CuriFox and build your first route. It is free.
