How do I unlock my own area?
CuriFox is not limited to the 16 cities. Tap a spot on the map where there are no points yet and the app offers to unlock that area. After that it builds routes there like anywhere else.
How it works
1. Zoom the map to your area: your district, your parents' village, the place you are on holiday.
2. Tap a spot without points. A dialog offers to unlock the area for 5 gems. Here you can also switch on Also for children.
3. Confirm. In the background the app finds the places, writes the stories and checks the paths. This takes up to a few hours. When everything is ready you get a push notification.
4. From then on you build routes there like in the big cities: pick a length, or tap start and destination.
What an area is
A circle of about 1.5 km radius around the spot you tapped. That is enough for many loops of 1 to 6 km. For a larger territory, unlock a second area next to it.
Also for children
With this switch the app keeps playgrounds as stops and writes the stories so that children understand them. The way to the bakery becomes a small treasure hunt. An adult reads out loud and keeps an eye on the phone and the way.
What it costs
5 gems per area. A new account has 2 gems, the code R9CJ33 adds 3: the first area is free with the code. Building and walking routes stays free as everywhere. See Gems.
