Nuremberg on foot
Nuremberg's old town still lies almost completely behind its city wall. The Imperial Castle stands above everything. Down on the Hauptmarkt you find the Schöner Brunnen fountain and the Frauenkirche, and on either side of the river Pegnitz the two great churches of St. Sebald and St. Lorenz. The house where Albrecht Dürer lived and worked is still standing too.
