Team event in Frankfurt: the 60-minute team duel outside your office

A team event does not have to take half a day or a four-figure budget. In the team duel, two teams walk the same loop in opposite directions, solve riddles about the places on the way and meet again at the finish. The first team with every answer right wins. 60 minutes, in any district, no host, one flat price per group.

How the team duel works

1. You tell us a meeting point near your office and a date. We build the loop for exactly that spot.

2. On the day you split into two teams. Each team gets the loop on one phone, that is all the technology it takes.

3. Team A walks the loop clockwise, team B counter-clockwise. At every stop there is a short story about the place and a question about what you see in front of you.

4. Somewhere half way you run into the other team. At the finish the app counts the right answers. The team that first gets every question right wins.

5. After 60 minutes you are back where you started. Then lunch, an after-work drink or back to the desk.

Why it fits an office day

Most city games in Frankfurt take two to four hours, start at the Römer and charge per person. Fine for the annual outing, not for a long lunch break or a Thursday afternoon.

The team duel is made for that: it starts where you work, in Nordend, Bornheim, Bockenheim, Westend, Gallus, the Europaviertel, Sachsenhausen, Niederrad or Höchst. Nobody travels to the city centre. There is no host, no tablets and nothing to prepare on your side. And it works with six people as well as with twenty.

Stories and questions come in English and German. Each team picks its language, mixed teams are no problem.

What it costs

One flat price per group, not per person: from 149 euros net for up to 20 people, with an invoice showing VAT. Larger groups run several duels at the same time, we quote the price in our reply.

For comparison: hosted city games in Frankfurt usually cost 25 to 59 euros per person, so 500 to 1,200 euros for a team of 20. If there is no budget at all, you can organise a free self-guided walk with the app yourself, without the duel, a date or an invoice: see the free self-guided walking tour.

What you get

A loop of about 60 minutes around your meeting point that both teams walk in opposite directions. Stops with stories and riddles about the places, in English or German. The result at the finish: time, right answers, winner. An invoice with VAT. You bring one phone per team with mobile internet and a good mood.

We are starting with the first duels in Frankfurt. Request your date and we get back to you within one working day.

Request a date

No obligation. We answer within one working day with a date and the price.

Frequently asked questions

How long does the team duel take?
About 60 minutes of walking plus ten minutes to meet and split into two teams. It fits into a long lunch break or a late afternoon.
How many people can take part?
6 to 20 people in two teams for the flat price. With more people several duels run at the same time on the same loop, we quote that price in our reply.
Does everyone need the app?
No. One phone per team is enough. The person with the phone reads the stories out, the team guesses together.
Do we get an invoice?
Yes, an invoice with VAT to your company. You can pay by bank transfer or online.
Is it available in English?
Yes. Stories and questions come in English and German, each team picks its language.
What about rain?
The duel takes place outdoors. In steady rain we move the date, just tell us by the day before.
Which districts does it work in?
All of them. Nordend, Bornheim, Bockenheim, Westend, Gallus, Europaviertel, Sachsenhausen, Niederrad, Höchst or a business park at the edge of town: we build the loop around your meeting point.
