City walks
Routes you can follow, with a short story for every place along the way.
- Cologne Südstadt on foot: 10 places between the Rhine and the old city wall About three and a half kilometres, roughly two hours, from the bank of the Rhine to St Pantaleon. The walk follows the medieval city wall through the Südstadt, the southern part of the old city. You only see the cathedral from a distance here. Instead you get towers, gates and stories that many locals do not know.
- Frankfurt on foot: a loop past 9 places most people walk right by Just under four kilometres, about two hours, starting and ending at the river Main. This loop takes you through central Frankfurt to places everybody knows and hardly anybody looks at closely.
