What can I do as a guest, and what do I need an account for?
You can try CuriFox without entering anything. For everything that should stay, you need an account with an e-mail address.
As a guest
Look at the map, build and walk one route of your own, collect coins on the way, look at Featured Routes. Nothing is saved: when you close the app, coins and route are gone. Buying, voting, the profile, entering a code and unlocking areas are not possible. Stories are in English as a guest.
With an account
Register with your e-mail address (you get a code to confirm) or through a social login. On the first login the app asks for a nickname and your home city; the home city is unlocked for free. From then on coins, gems, routes, unlocked places and cities, purchases and your place in the leaderboard are saved, and the stories come in the language set in your profile.
